  1. Install the game client

    You need the 3.3.5a (build 12340) client. Newer clients will not connect. If you don't have a copy, ask the person who invited you.

  2. Point it at this realm

    Open Data\enUS\realmlist.wtf in Notepad (or the enGB folder, etc.), replace everything in it with this line, and save:

    set realmlist 34.132.219.169

  3. Sign in

    Start Wow.exe directly, not a launcher, and sign in with the username and password you created. Neither is case-sensitive.

    No account yet? Create one.

Good to know

  • The world is shared with computer-controlled adventurers who quest, trade and can join your group.
  • Stuck on "Connecting"? Check the realmlist line and that nothing is blocking the game.
  • Forgot your password? Ask the realm's game master to reset it.
